Webb Deane Stevens Museum celebrates and explores the rich, diverse, and robust legacy of the American Spirit and its impact on Connecticut through history, art, and music on a preserved historic site. The monogram icon shows the relationship between the three historic houses on their site and acts as a nod to their benefactors, the Colonial Dames. We contrasted the mark with modern type that nods at the relevancy of the brand in a more inclusive manner the the museum has previously been able to express. With this mark, we expand the notion of what it means to embody the American Spirit.
