We’ve always supported our staff through all kinds of life experiences through our own version of a Family and Medical Leave Plan. Rich was quite energized to speak to the press on behalf of the workforce of Connecticut to push for the principles we believe in to become a matter of public policy. Here’s what he had to say:
For the innovators who are transforming our region, “quality” takes the form of a “Family First” ethos—not just for ourselves, but for all the residents in our communities. Paid Family and Medical Leave is a cost-neutral and positive indicator of both our core values and our seriousness about supporting the progressive industries that will advance our economy.
Hopefully, the next time we post about this will be to share that the Nutmeg State has adopted its own Medical and Family Leave Act.
